Always admired Frank Worthington as a kid for this goal.

And invariably having a dolly bird on each arm.

Malcolm Allison, Lawrie McEnemy, Brian Clough.

The players back then had proper role models as managers.

Keith Robson I used to drink with him in the Blakesley Manor Park then we'd go on to the Conqueror and end up in the Rabbit's.
He was mad we'd have to tell him to slow down a bit as he had a game coming up.

George Best by a country mile.

There'd be pics of him leaving Stringfellows at 2am early hours Sat morning with Miss world on his arm, then after pounding her all night he,d be at Old Trafford at 3pm running rings around everyone.

Was magic with the ball at his feet.

Robin Friday.

Especially for kicking Lawrenson in the mush during a match, then shitting in his bag.

George Best was the most annoying.

His lifestyle sabotaged a career that should have been twice as long.

But his biggest mistake was being born into a nationality which couldn't give him the stage to perform at the highest level.

Although the one time I saw him live, he was pretty anonymous in a ManU side we beat 3-0
